Nanny Appreciation Mornings! Come get a little treat with Beehive and play :)

My hope for you in these classes is to find a safe space to breathe with your baby. To sing some songs and have fun. To meet other likeminded parents and bond over shared experiences. My hope is that you’ll find your voice and use it to build an even stronger connection with your baby. What you’ll get out of these classes:
We’ll explore how to co-regulate with your baby using Attachment Theory. (aka how to calm yourself, while calming your baby when s*it has hit the fan!)
You’ll learn how to use music to establish routine and communicate with your baby.
You’ll learn how to use music to deepen your connection with your baby and in turn feel like the confident and successful parent you already are.
You’ll learn ways to slow down and lock in the good memories, the small moments that you’ll want to remember forever.
You’ll learn new ways to play with your baby. New morning songs, tummy time songs, and ways to engage after a long day.
25+ new songs, all from the albums of Vered, to begin to build your own family songbook
Build lasting relationships with likeminded parents. It can be SO difficult to find friends going through the same things you are. We’ll build those relationships through sharing, through showing up, and through song.

Group Tutoring & Quiet Workspace for Kids As a community hub, Beehive Upstairs hopes to support big kids and their families in their quest to love and find success in learning. Rachel, owner of Beehive, is a current classroom teacher in first and second grade, a certified reading specialist and a certified ESL teacher. She has taught for many years in Philadelphia and attended UVM for Elementary Education and the University of Pennsylvania for her MS Ed. in Language and Literacy. Each Tuesday, from 5:30-7:30, Rachel, and other teachers as this program grows, will host small group tutoring and homework help at Beehive Upstairs. We aim to keep this group both fun and supportive of needs. Grown-ups are welcome to drop-off. Kids can stay the whole two hours or be there for whatever chunk of the time feels best to their family. This group tutoring is open house style. Ideal for students in Kindergarten to Fourth grades, but if your student falls outside of this range, let’s chat!
