Little Bees FAQ
Little Bees drop off is between 9:30-10:00 at Beehive Upstairs on Mondays/Tuesdays and/or Thursdays. Pick-up is between 12:00 and 12:30 at Beehive Upstairs. You will receive an email with our Bok Virtual Key which will allow access to the Bok building during your registered sessions.
This is a drop-off babysitting group but you are welcome to stay nearby. There are also tables outside the classroom that are available for you to work at, as well as a wonderful coffee shop downstairs on the first floor.
Snacks/ Lunches/ Water/ Supplies:
Please send your camper with a labeled backpack with all of their supplies.
Campers will get messy with paint, dirt, and other exploratory materials, so please dress your camper in clothing you are ok with getting messy.
Please pack your camper with 1-2 changes of clothes and everything they need for diapering.
You must pack a water bottle and 2-3 morning snacks for your camper. We have a snack at 10:15 and 11:45.
Please no peanut or tree nut products in any snacks.
Our wonderful teachers for Little Bees will be Caralyn (Lead Little Bees teacher), Olivia, Bushra, and Poppy. Not all of the teachers will be teaching each day, but they are all excited to get to know your camper. Little Bees will have anywhere between 4 kids and 10 kids per session and we adjust the number of teachers based on enrollment.
Diapering/ Bathroom: Your student does not need to be potty trained to attend Little Bees. Teachers will take campers to the bathroom (a public restroom in the immediate hallway) in groups (usually with 2 teachers at a time) at scheduled times and as needed (usually with 1 teacher.) Diaper changes will happen as needed in the classroom. You can include diapering/ bathroom needs on the form you fill out for your camper.
